Description
We are looking for a Procurement Value Analysis and Value Engineering to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of General Procurement, Systems & Processes.
You will be responsible to provide cost analysis using value engineering and value analysis methods and tools. You will also be responsible for being a proactive support in innovation cost evaluation and accountable for trade off definition between variable and fixed costs according to volumes.
Your main activities will be:
- Support the design to cost activities of component technical definition during the concept, development phase and life cycle
- Perform detailed cost analysis on variable and fixed costs based on technical requirements
- Evaluation of variable and fixed cost relations according to project production volumes
- Use group tools to detail cost elements and build waterfall analysis
- Provide specific calculations related to green/brown field and R&D costs used in the components awards
- Support the negotiation activities of the series buyers with the analysis and cost competences mainly during business assignment and modification phase.
- Cost reduction approach along all the project development (from early phase to and after SOP) with ideas identification, evaluation and related implementation plan definition with the stakeholders
About you
- University Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electric/Electronic, Automotive)
- 5 years’ experience in automotive cost engineering / cost analysis
- Experience in Automotive
- English knowledge, German will be considered a plus
- Technical product knowledge
- Manufacturing technologies competences (e.g. powertrain, electrification and hybridization)
- Offers and cost breakdown analysis
- Teamwork and relational skills
- Attitude of analysis and implementation of innovative technical solutions & materials
- Negotiation skills
