Job Description

Tasks

  • Primary responsibility for the strategic planning and implementation of the IT service strategy of Audi Mexico.
  • Primary responsibility for planning, designing, tendering, awarding and implementing the SLA-based operation of IT Services
    for Audi Mexico.
  • Primary responsibility for IT platform operation, development and lifecycle management.


Develop Services

  • Assure the availability and security of the IT systems and platforms for all the core processes of Audi Mexico.
  • Control of the service providers for the 2nd and 3rd level support of the operated IT systems.
  • Hosting and operation of VW Group applications / systems in the Audi Mexico data centers.
  • Working on Audi IT & Digitalization and VW Group programs / projects with main or partial responsibility.
  • Define IT Architecture for projects, able to comply with availability and security requirements.


Operate Services

  • Managing production-related client hardware.
  • Managing the User Help Desk and service points for every IT service.
  • Planning and controlling the SGK, Invest and Personal budgets according to KPI specifications.
  • Advice on the fields of expertise and business areas by selecting suitable IT services and adapting the service portfolio as needed.
  • Comprehensive control of the operating processes of the IT Services of Audi Mexico.


Team

  • Continuous development of IT employees regarding project and service competences focused in new IT technologies.
  • Exclusive decision-making authority on the use of relevant IT technologies for Audi Mexico.
  • Exclusive definition of service goals and service levels for Audi Mexico.
  • Exclusive content-related contract design with external service providers for the control of complex infrastructure services and the provision of services by service providers.
  • Defining the prioritization of innovation, technology and optimization projects (CIP) and establishing the implementation
    decision.
  • Exclusive definition of process steps to ensure service quality within the given Audi regulatory environment.
  • Right of proposal for supplier nominations.
  • Representation of the IT Services interests / strategy of Audi Mexico in the VW Group committees.
  • Exclusive decision-making authority for savings strategies in IT-related services.

 

Responsabilities

  • Supplying the company with basic IT services and IT infrastructure platforms (data centers, network, storage, servers, databases and middleware, platforms, cloud, operational IT security, client computers, mobile phones, production-related client hardware and User Help Desk).
  • Evaluate and decide the Audi IT platform solutions for all (KAP and SUP) projects.
  • Ensuring the availability, integrity, recoverability and security of the infrastructure platforms and agreed SLA's.
  • Adherence to compliance and IT security requirements in infrastructure platforms.
  • Ensure legal hold requirements in infrastructure platforms.
  • Compliance with data protection regulations in the infrastructure platforms.
  • Budget for IT Infrastructure and Services.
  • Local responsible for IT suppliers (nationals and internationals).
