Being the driver in Volkswagen Group initiative for mobility solutions, we’re an integral part of Volkswagen Group's future success.

Brief Role Description

A Senior Connectivity Engineer responsible for leading end-to-end validation and integration of wireless communication systems across telecom, automotive, and IoT platforms. The role involves deep technical ownership of modem and connectivity features (5G/LTE, Wi-Fi, eSIM), system-level testing, and cross-domain integration spanning embedded devices, vehicle networks, and backend services. The position requires advanced troubleshooting, automation development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality connectivity solutions in complex, safety-critical environments.

  • Execute drive tests to validate real-world scenarios (handover, weak/no signal, roaming)
  • Analyze KPIs such as throughput, latency, reliability, and power consumption
  • Lead and coordinate incident response for high-severity events
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and drive long-term remediation and resilience improvements

Automation, Debugging & Continuous Integration – 15%
