How can I register and log in? Do I need to create a profile?

Please click on the ‘View profile’ tab on the top and follow the option ‘Create an account’ on the following page or create your profile directly during the application process. Follow all instructions, which are displayed on the page and enter all required details.

What can I do if my password does not work?

Simply click on the ‘Reset password’ button or follow the link and wait 5 - 10 minutes. A new password will be sent during this time to the email address you provided.

Please be patient when you request the new password and do not request another password again until you have received your new password via email. Otherwise it will already be invalid again because of the subsequent password request received. You can then continue with your application using the new password.

Which information should be included for the application and can I change my details later?

For the application a resume/CV is needed as well as a set of personal data (for example: first name, last name, address etc.). In the application sheet some essential fields are marked as mandatory that are needed to be entered for the application. All entered data can be changed easily afterwards within your candidate profile. You can find more information in the data privacy policy here.

Please login on the Job Portal and click on the portlets (for example: My Documents, Profile Information etc.). Multiple portlets will appear that show all of your data. All field values can be changed and saved. All of your entered information will be used for further applications and can be seen by other brand recruiters according to your profile visibility settings. Different application-specific documents can additionally be uploaded during the application process.

By clicking on the selected job the application opens and you get to the option to withdraw your application. After confirming the information in the Pop-Up you get the confirmation that your application was withdrawn successfully.  You will also receive a notification by mail confirming the process.

The application language can be chosen individually by you on the Job Portal menu. You can choose any language from the language menu of the page.

We will answer all applications as soon as possible. The response depends on the respective brand/group company and application. The status of all applications is visible for you within your candidate profile in the section ‘ Jobs applied‘.

In case of questions regarding your application or one specific job posting please reach out to the recruiter displayed on the respective job posting or the company specific Recruiting Hotline/Recruiting Support that is mentioned in the job description.

How can I accept or reject an interview slot?

The tab ‘My interviews’ within your candidate profile displays any previous or upcoming interviews. The proposed interview timeslot can be confirmed, declined or rescheduled.

I want to apply to a specific group. Why is the name ‘ Volkswagen Group‘ included in the URL and the email?

The URL and e-mail are branded with ‘Volkswagen Group’ because we use a common recruitment system across brands and group companies. The application will only be forwarded to the respective brand or group company for whose position you wish to apply and your profile can only be viewed according to your selected profile visibility settings. The contract and recruitment will also only take place at the company to which you have applied.

Otherwise your profile cannot be found by our Recruiter teams for open positions.

On the homepage of Volkswagen Group Job Portal we give you an overview of our main brands and VW Group companies. By clicking on the respective logo you will be forwarded to the subpage of the brand with all open jobs and detailed information for you as a candidate.

When will my profile be deleted?

Your candidate profile will be deleted whenever it has reached 180 days of inactivity. In case of open applications your candidate profile will not be deleted automatically. Your application will be purged within 180 days after your application has been forwarded to a disqualified status. More information can be found in the data protection policy here.

How can I delete my data if I have no access to the candidate profile anymore?

If you no longer have access via your previous login data, it may be that your candidate profile has already been deleted. If you want to make sure that your profile has been deleted, please contact us via jobs@volkswagen.de to get the information. If you do not have access because you have forgotten your password, request a new password to log in again.

Your data submitted via an application is only visible to the responsible recruiter of the respective company. The visibility of the specific application depends on the setting, which were chosen at the profile registration.

  • All recruiters worldwide of the participating VW Group companies (see data privacy policy for list of companies)
  • All national recruiters of the participating VW Group companies, i.e. in the country/region of my residential address (see data protection declaration for list of companies)
  • Only recruiters who are responsible for the jobs I am applying for
