What we do?

VWFS Porto is a VWFS AG IT hub, and the first outside Germany. Here we will establish a long-term Business & IT company. Our primary goal is to service all European markets in implementing and maintaining contract management systems and another IT projects in other areas. Our focus is on: Core systems, satellite systems (such as document management systems, collection systems) but also extends to integrations, data, and large project organizations. For this we seek a hands-on Scrum Master.

Objectives:

Support Agile teams in delivering high-quality outcomes through facilitation, guidance, and continuous improvement, while fostering a culture of collaboration and Agile values. Additionally, help teams prepare effectively for Program Increment (PI) Planning in a scaled Agile environment.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Facilitating Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Identifying and removing impediments to team progress.
• Supporting Product Owners/Project Managers in maintaining a well-refined and prioritized backlog.
• Promoting Agile principles and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Enhancing transparency through metrics such as velocity, lead time, burndown and others.
• Ensuring team alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Supporting teams in the preparation and readiness for PI Planning, including dependency identification and capacity planning.

We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Certified in Scrum or Agile methodologies (e.g., PSM I/II, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master).
• Skilled in facilitation, servant leadership, and conflict resolution.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, EazyBI, Script Runner and Agile metrics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting teams in Scaled Agile (e.g., SAFe) environments.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a strong plus.
