Objectives:
As part of the VWFS Porto IT team, you will support the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) product by assisting with infrastructure and coordination tasks, helping ensure stable and scalable RPA services across markets.
This is a hands-on learning opportunity in a collaborative, international environment, working with experienced colleagues from Germany and other European countries.
You will assist in maintaining RPA infrastructure, help troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with IT and development teams as part of a growing UiPath-driven automation initiative.
In this role you will be responsible for:
· Support RPA infrastructure and coordinate related IT activities
· Assist in the analysis, resolution, and tracking of RPA incidents with internal/external teams across EU markets
· Collaborating with IT Operations (Client, Server, Network) to manage infrastructure needs
· Communicate with UiPath support to resolve technical issues
· Help implement and maintain RPA solutions, contributing to development tasks when needed
· Support infrastructure rollout to the teams by providing documentation and technical guidance
· Participate in knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement of RPA support and service processes
Level of decision-making power/authorization:
· Operates under the supervision of senior IT or RPA coordinators
· Expected to follow up and execute assigned coordination or support tasks with autonomy
· Escalates complex or critical issues and risks to senior stakeholders
· Participate in team discussions regarding tooling, troubleshooting steps, and issue tracking
We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be:
· Academic background in computer science or relevant IT training (or comparable hands-on experience)
· Interest in automation and IT support/infrastructure
· Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (clients, servers, networks, SaaS)
· Some familiarity with UiPath tools (e.g., Orchestrator, Robot, Automation Cloud)
· Analytical, curious, and detail-oriented
· Eager to learn and work in an international team
· Proactive, responsible, and able to handle tasks independently
· Good team player with good communication skills
· Proficiency in written and spoken English
Nice to have/Considered a plus:
· Any prior experience (internships or projects) related to RPA, automation, or IT operations
· Understanding of software/system architecture or interface technologies
· Basic programming or scripting skills
· Familiarity with IT service management (e.g., incident tracking, change management)
· Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow
· Knowledge of German language
