Brief Role Description
Commercial Risk Intern will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Commercial Credit Specialist and Commercial Credit & Risk Analysts for the VCCI Commercial Risk Department.

Duration: 8 months
Possible Tasks within this Role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Commercial Credit Specialist in regular payment processing and balancing within the Wholesale Management System (Wi).
- Perform the Daily Net-Funding activities and related dealer communications.
- Perform daily transactions for Non-Audi/Volkswagen Vehicle Invoicing.
- Assist the Commercial Credit Specialist in the clearing of the Dealership’s Inventory Audits.
- Providing Dealers with their payment receipts, payment transaction explanations and monthly billing statements (with back-up) for non-floorplan loans.
- Assist the Commercial Credit Specialist in regular report generation and distribution based on the current distribution policies of the Commercial Risk department.
- Fulfill ad hoc data requests as requested by the Commercial Risk team members and other departments, such as Sales & Marketing, Controlling, Wholesale Controlling, etc…
- Perform other related duties as required by the department.
Qualification requirements
Educational requirement:
Must be enrolled in the 2nd year of a fulltime co-op business and/or accounting, finance or marketing program in a recognized Canadian University. Skills requirement
- Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written and presentational.
- Work Experience in a retail customer service role.
- 1 -2 year business environment work experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Excel (Intermediate Level), and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Business Objects is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
- Detail and process oriented.
Work Schedule
- The work week is 37.5 hours.
- The selected candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
Salary range is dependent on factors such as industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications.
The salary for this role is $25.65. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and internal compensation practices.This posting represents an existing vacancy that we are actively seeking to fill.
