Brief Role Description
This position is a career level 20P and is located in Reston, VA with a role classification of Hybrid.
- Responsible for mid-term incentive process creation, development, and coordination of all sales channel support programs in the U.S. market including competitive market analysis and iterative scenario planning
- Support the implementation of all Audi of America (AoA) retail sales programs in the U.S. market, including cost-benefit and post program analysis / reconciliation
- Support the achievement of annual Audi national and regional sales and P&L objectives
- Manage all aspects of Audi’s Retail Incentive data partnerships (JD Power, S&P Global Mobility)
- Liaise between AoA Operations and AoA Finance, Audi Financial Services, and AoA Marketing to ensure alignment in the Audi retail go-to-market strategy and broader retail incentive plan
- Serve as the business leader for process & system improvements
- Develop competitive data sets and report out in Executive, Region/Field, and dealer-friendly formats
- Support the development of monthly and weekly executive management presentations
Possible Tasks within this Role
Incentives Planning & Market Analysis – 60%
- As a member of the Vehicle Sales team, support achievement of all national and regional objectives, including New vehicle sales, market share, vehicle turn rates, aging inventory, model year sell-down, contribution margin performance, dealer profitability, sales satisfaction index, customer loyalty for all Audi SUV, Sedan, EV and Sport carlines.
- Develop mid-term incentive planning for all Audi SUV, Sedan, EV and Sport carlines including:
- Design and implementation of standardized elasticity scenario planning tools such as volume, incentive PNVR, and payment considerations.
- Construct market trend & benchmarking analyses including Premium competitors’ MSRP, incentive spend, customer-facing transaction price (CFTP), residual value (RV) developments.
- Plan incentive budget scenario budget including stress-testing.
- Present key findings and market opportunities, securing buy-in to AoA Operations and AoA Finance
- Design and maintain Retail Incentives market intelligence visualization and reporting at National, Regional and DMA levels.
- Support all internal review and validation for monthly retail program publication.
- Develop solutions for process improvement opportunities.
Partnerships and Legal – 20%
- Manage and further enhance existing Incentive data partnerships collaborating with Region/Field organization for data adoption and utilization.
- Data management including quality assurance, automation, retention.
- Liaise with Audi Legal team to ensure compliance with federal communications regulationsValidate future Retail Incentive data vendor opportunities.
Ad Hoc Support and Reporting – 20%
- Assist in the development and implementation of short- & long-term selling strategies
- Support the development of monthly and weekly executive management presentations
- Principal back up for Sr Manager, Retail Merchandising, Pre-owned & Fleet
Qualification requirements
7+ years automotive or role-related experience
