This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Audi’s commercial operations — from market analysis and demand forecasting to national allocation planning and incentive program evaluation. The analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Marketing teams to support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency across the full vehicle lifecycle.

Rotation #1

 

Sales Planning & Forecasting:

 

This rotation focuses on developing analytical and strategic planning skills to support Audi’s sales performance and market positioning. The analyst will contribute to forecasting, reporting, and competitive benchmarking initiatives that shape national sales strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct regular market and competitive analysis, summarizing key sales and share trends.
  • Prepare and present sales performance dashboards to management with actionable insights by model, region, and channel.
  • Support the alignment of sales initiatives through cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and Finance.
  • Assist with sales forecasting, using market data to evaluate and predict future volume and demand.

This rotation offers exposure to the operational and analytical aspects of Audi’s supply chain, focusing on vehicle distribution and inventory optimization. The analyst will learn how to balance production, dealer demand, and logistics capacity to ensure efficient market coverage.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze dealer ordering patterns and market data to support optimal vehicle allocation.
  • Monitor national inventory levels to identify and mitigate risks of overstock or understock.
  • Track and report logistics KPIs to identify process improvements and distribution bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align vehicle distribution with sales objectives.
  • Prepare communications and reports for the dealer network on vehicle ordering, availability, and allocation status.

This rotation focuses on understanding the financial and behavioral impact of Audi’s retail incentive programs. The analyst will gain experience in evaluating program effectiveness, benchmarking competitors, and supporting strategic pricing and incentive decisions.

  • Analyze the ROI and sales impact of existing and proposed retail incentive programs.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to compare Audi’s offers against key competitors.
  • Perform financial modeling to forecast the effects of potential incentive adjustments.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing incentive performance and insights.
  • Maintain program documentation and assist with audit preparation and internal reviews.
