YOUR TEAM
To support our eSIM & MNO Connectivity team, we are currently looking for an intern or working student. In your role you get first-hand experience in the world of automotive cellular connectivity.
CARIAD's connectivity team strives to add value to the personal and professional lives of car riders by realizing a reliable and flexible connectivity ecosystem that enriches the digital customer experience.
We deliver a scalable and brand agnostic connectivity platform by employing groundbreaking technologies that reduce integration lead time and empower automotive OEMS to transform the cockpit into a smart space to blend with the emerging connected world around.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist in the development and testing of MNO connectivity solutions for automotive applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate connectivity features into vehicles
- Conduct research on emerging connectivity technologies and trends
- Support the team in designing architecture connectivity solutions and feature enhancement
- Participate in the documentation and reporting of project progress
- Utilize AI tools for configuration management and optimization of connectivity systems
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student in the area of electrical engineering, computer science, telecommunication, or a related field
- Basic understanding of mobile network technologies (e.g. 4G, 5G, eSIM technology)
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
- Basic programming skills (e.g. Java, Python)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Enthusiasm for automotive technology and innovation
NICE TO KNOW
- Remote work options within Germany
- Internship:
- Duration: 3 to 6 months
- 35-hour week
- Working student:
- Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
- 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break
