YOUR TEAM

As your new team, we standardize and optimize operational HR support processes by making processes more efficient, digitalizing and/or automating them. The aim is to enhance the employee experience of every CARIDIAN and to reduce the workload of our business partners. Our work is organized in agile product teams in order to be able to offer flexible and customer-oriented services. Our team consists of both technical and functional specialists to provide efficient HR solutions to CARIDIANS. Our mission is to harmonize the HR system landscape by reducing its complexity with SAP solutions and other technical tools.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing and testing of monthly payroll for all employees in compliance with local tax and labor laws
  • Work continuesly on system improvements within SAP HCM and time management tool, together with our HR IT
  • Execute projects to improve payroll processes and implementation of tools
  • Monitor changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements
  • Prepare payroll reports and provide data for audits, financial statements, and internal reporting
  • Close collaboration with regulations, labor law, operations and payroll provider to ensure correct payroll
  • Support HR projects and Operations with your payroll expertise
  • Coordinate remuneration scopes with HR business partners and HR governance
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders across departments (employees, HR, managers, works council, etc.).

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Sound professional experience in operational payroll accounting
  • Experience in managing external service providers, ideally in the context of payroll accounting processes
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax and social security regulations
  • Expert knowledge of SAP HCM in the area of payroll accounting and payroll accounting
  • Familiarity with collective agreements and CARIAD's company-specific guidelines
  • Good knowledge of Jira and Excel as well as a strong affinity for working with data and digital tools
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured and detail-oriented way of working as well as a high affinity for numbers
  • Basic understanding of labor law and confident application and implementation in daily work
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
