YOUR TEAM

To support our Core AI team, we are currently looking for a working student. In your role you get first-hand experience in developing state-of-the-art (SOTA) deep learning models and will be an integral part of the team that develops, scales, integrates and deploys such models in our ADAS/AD series products. You will be part of an international team that works on the latest technology that transforms the autonomous driving industry.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Implement and evaluate SOTA model optimization techniques to enhance our models’ efficiency
  • Benchmark and validate SOTA quantization and model compression techniques on edge hardware
  • Benchmark and compare different model architectures to optimize inference runtime
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate the optimized models into our deployment pipelines
  • Analyze and report performance metrics to guide model improvements and deployment decisions 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled student in the area of Computer science, Mathematics, Robotics or similar disciplines
  • Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, optimization, and information theory
  • Proficient in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch (preferred) or TensorFlow, C++ is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with experimenting or prototyping AI algorithms

NICE TO KNOW

  • Remote work options within Germany
  • Duration: 6 months
  • 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break
