YOUR TEAM

To support our Mechanical Engineering & Industrialization team, we are currently looking for a working student in our location Mönsheim/Heimsheim. In your role you get first-hand experience in Thermal & Mechanical Test & Design of ADAS ECUs and will be an integral part of the team that works on In-House Hardware Development. 

We work handson in the lab, combining physical testing with simulation and data evaluation. Our team culture is collaborative, practical, curious, and solutionoriented, with a strong focus on learning and technical excellence. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support thermal tests (climatic chamber, power dissipation, temperature measurements)  
  • Create and adapt CAD models for fixtures, prototypes, and test setups  
  • Prepare test reports, data analyses, and documentation 
  • Support daily lab activities and setup preparations 
  • Support infrared thermography measurements and analysis 
  • Assist in setting up thermocouples, sensors, and data acquisition hardware 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled student in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, physics, or similar  
  • Basic knowledge of thermal engineering and heat transfer  
  • Hands‑on mindset and interest in lab work which is sometimes physically demanding 
  • Experience with CAD tools (Catia, NX, SolidWorks, or comparable) 
  • First experience with CAE thermal simulation tools (e.g., Ansys Icepak, FloTHERM, Star-CCM+) 
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written) 

NICE TO KNOW

  • Remote work options within Germany 
  • Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years) 
  • 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break 
  • Salary: 17,80€/hour
