YOUR TEAM
To support our Audio ECU development team, we are currently looking for a working student. In your role you get first-hand experience in ECU development process and will be an integral part of the team that works on ECU development. We are building a scalable and adaptable platform that delivers legally required AVAS exterior warning sound as well as sound emotionalization for electric and hybrid vehicles, contributing to safety, brand differentiation, and customer experience.
We work in a cross-functional, agile setup that fosters collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning. Our team values open communication, innovation, and a strong commitment to quality. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the development and validation of automotive software components in a modern vehicle environment
- Work with automotive communication technologies and development tools
- Support ECU diagnostics, tooling, and test automation tasks
- Collaborate with experienced engineers in cross‑functional and international teams
- Gain hands‑on experience with established automotive software development processes and quality standards
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student in the area of Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or a similar field of studies
- Strong programming or scripting skills (e.g. Python/C,/C#) and interest in applying these skills in an automotive environment
- Basic understanding of embedded systems, automotive development process or tools (e.g. CANoe/CAPL, AUTOSAR, diagnostics tools)
- Curiosity, reliability and a strong willingness to learn from experienced engineers while contributing to team objectives
- Structured and independent way of working
- Fluent in English
NICE TO KNOW
- The position requires regular onsite presence at our Mönsheim Office.
- Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
- 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
- Salary: 17,80€/hour
