YOUR TEAM

Our domain IIX - Interior, Infotainment & Digital Experience is developing infotainment and mobile solutions for the digital experience for Volkswagen brands. We develop customer functions like Digital Assistant, Navigation, Mobile Apps, Vehicle Analytics or In-car Health & Wellbeing.

You will be part of a motivated software development team, that is developing Audio and Sound application and holistic in-vehicle functions. You want to gain practical software experience on your academic path? Our team is happy to receive your application as working student or intern.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Creation of audio engineering tools in agile team environment, consisting of software developers, UX/UI engineers, and product management
  • Design of software applications
  • Development, implementation, and test of software that interacts with the vehicle’s hardware (ECUs, in-vehicle sensors & actuators), based on Android Automotive (AAOS)
  • Function validation on different levels incl. vehicle testing

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled student in computer science, (media) informatics, user experience design, electrical engineering or in a comparable field
  • Knowledge in software development, esp. Matlab, C++
  • Familiarity with agile development methods and CI/CD techniques
  • Ideally, knowledge of vehicle communication protocols
  • Analytical skills, team-oriented mindset, high level of commitment and flexibility, with a structured and independent approach to work
  • Fluent in English and German

NICE TO KNOW

  • Remote work options within Germany
  • Internship:
    • Duration: 3 to 6 months
    • 35-hour week
  • Working student:
    • Duration: 6 months
    • 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break
