For the department Steering Integration we are looking for a working student. We are part of the organizational unit TV – Integration & Test, responsible for enabling end‑to‑end system integration across functions, domains, and development streams. Our mission is to ensure holistic integration, transparency, and technical coherence throughout the product development lifecycle — from early concepts to validation and release readiness. Within this environment, we drive the adoption of AI‑supported workflows, develop M365 Copilot‑based solutions, and support teams across TV in working more efficiently, data‑driven, and collaboration‑focused.

You will join a team that works pragmatically, iteratively, and with strong ownership, closely collaborating with engineering, testing, project‑management and cross‑unit stakeholders across CARIAD and the Volkswagen Group.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support project‑management activities within ongoing AI initiatives
  • Maintain and extend our AI usecase inventories and backlogs
  • Contribute to developing M365 Copilot Agents and Prompts‑as‑Code
  • Assist in building AI prototypes using Azure OpenAI and Azure Foundry
  • Prepare presentations, communication materials, and decision briefs

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar field
  • Hands‑on experience with generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
  • Interest in M365 Copilot, automation, AI engineering, and modern workflows
  • Good written and verbal language skills in English and German
  • Strong communication skills, analytical and self-organized

NICE TO KNOW

  • Remote work options within Germany
  • Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
  • 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
  • Salary: 17,80€/hour

At CARIAD, we embrace individuality and diversity because we believe our differences make us stronger. We actively seek to build teams with a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
