YOUR TEAM
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for camera hardware, software and system integration to deliver cutting-edge imaging solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Manage the development of exterior and interior camera systems in line with VW group brand-specific vehicle development processes
- Create the imaging solution for our industry-leading ADAS stack
- Work in an agile development team with computer vision experts, test engineers, data scientists and international partners
- Ensure delivery of B-, C-, and D-samples, frozen optical paths and integration-ready drivers
- Oversee software provisioning in System42 and manage release documentation for series production. Including hardware approval for series production (shelf approval and K-release), ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DV/PV results, delivery timelines defect ticket tracking and resolution and system integration quality
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal partners to meet HW/SW milestones and quality targets
- Create the next generation camera sensor solutions for VW group by monitoring industry trends and implement proof of concepts
WHO YOU ARE
- You are an experienced leader with a proven track record of managing technical teams in complex development environments
- You are an expert in automotive camera systems, optics and embedded software integration
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing hardware and software in the automotive domain
- You have a degree in electrical engineering, computer vision or comparable
- You understand the complexity of integrating camera systems into vehicle platforms including relevant standards an norms like ISO26262
- You understand state of the art ADAS architecturesYou understand perception pipelines and the demands of the over camera to driving effect chain as well as the demands of in cabin sensing applications
- You are skilled in requirement management, defect tracking, and milestone-based delivery
- You are skilled in managing complex interfaces with a focus on quality, timelines, budget and innovation
- You excel using strong communcation and presentation skills
