YOUR TEAM
To support our AI Assistant team, we are currently looking for a working student. In your role you get first-hand experience in backend software development, CI/CD, cloud and AI technologies and will be an integral part of the team that works on customer facing AI applications of the Volkswagen Group. The team is cross-functional (product, UX, engineers), follows agile processes (SAFe, Scrum) and mostly based in Berlin.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Help to evaluate and improve the performance of LLM applications (Large Language Models)
- Improve CI/CD and automation of workflows
- Work on system observability
- Participate in operational tasks to maintain service reliability
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student in the area of Computer Science, IT or similar
- Experience with Python and/or Java programming and debugging (including knowledge of Restful APIs)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and containerization tools (especially scripting, Bash and Docker)
- Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, VSCode or IntelliJ as well as version control (Git)
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Great team skills and eager to learn
- Interest in automotive technology and AI/ML applications
NICE TO KNOW
- Remote work options within Germany
- Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
- 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
- Salary: 17,80€/hour
