YOUR TEAM
AI Functions delivers the functional software that shapes the behavior of the system and directly influences how customers perceive the product. These include Driving, Parking, Active Safety, Display and InCabin.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop AI models for motion prediction of traffic participants that leverage large scale data
- Implement C++ postprocessing modules such as trajectory optimization and safety checks to enhance maneuver precision and safety
- Drive the transition toward a fully AI-driven approach across all customer-facing ADAS functions, replacing traditional rule-based logic
- Shape and support actively the transition towards the adtoption of AI technology and a modern software architectures while ensuring timely series delivery
- Oversee the selection, curation, and validation of high-quality datasets for training, testing, and evaluation, ensuring robust and scalable model development
- Ensure the quality of your teams work by tracking and influencing key performance indicators such as: Percentage of successfully solved scenarios, Kilometers per takeover and per violation, and non functional metrics related to ressources consumption or development speed and quality
- Ensure performant deployment of AI prediction models on the embedded vehicle platform including quantization effects
- Know the code of your team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration across the software stack and compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards
WHO YOU ARE
- Strong proficiency in Python for AI model development and data science, ideally within the automotive or robotics domain
- Proven experience in embedded C++ engineering for safety-critical systems
- Deep understanding of object prediction, trajectory planning, and postprocessing techniques such as safety checks
- Familiarity with all ADAS functions and functional safety standards and experience implementing ASIL-compliant software architectures
- A hands-on mentality - you actively seek to help shaping your team's architecture and understand your team’s codebase and can confidently navigate its structure
- Well versed in state-of-the-art technologies and a willingness to challenge the status quo when necessary, including adopting emerging technologies like transformers, and generative AI approaches
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams with expertise in C++, AI/ML deployment, and data engineering
- Strong analytical skills and a clear understanding of how to define, measure, and influence functional and non functional KPIs
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working at the intersection of AI, software engineering, functional safety, and behavioral design
