(Senior) Software Engineer (Cloud Engineer) - AI Platform (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Designing and operating ML inference pipelines in the cloud to process multi-modal sensor data and deliver high-quality data for AI development
- Deploying ML workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, and Argo, with efficient integration into our data management systems (Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Blob Storage)
- Integrating services within the data loop using Event Grid and Databricks
- Optimizing service runtime for scalability and cost efficiency
WHO YOU ARE
- University degree (Master or PhD preferred) in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Scientific Computing, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics or a related field with relation to AI
- Hands-on experience with: Linux, Git, Python, Azure Cloud & Azure Machine Learning (Event Grid, authentication workflows, Blob Storage), Terraform, Kubernetes, Databricks / Delta Lake and SQL
- Proficient in software development with a focus on Python and high software quality
- Analytical and solution-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiar with software architecture, design patterns, and version control systems
- Experience with Argo and Ray are nice to have
- A strong communicator in English; German is a plus
