Work Environment

Become part of our team at Volkswagen Group Innovation. We work with modern methods in automotive design, plan future technologies, and bring them to life. As part of Volkswagen Group Innovation, you will work in an interdisciplinary environment on a variety of mobility solutions. With three innovation centers in Europe, Asia, and the United States, we leverage local expertise to develop solutions at both the global and local levels. During this internship, you will be part of a team that collaborates on a wide range of topics. You will have the opportunity to further develop your professional skills as well as your personal competencies. Your task will be to investigate the performance and robustness of AI agents under different types of attacks. We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual with a strong interest in computational linguistics and its application in agent-based AI systems. Possible tasks within this Role

  • Create a pipeline for generating adversarial examples for long-horizon datasets
  • Explore and apply quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate the generated pipeline
  • Develop, analyze, and evaluate agents under different types of adversarial attacks across various agentic AI architectures
  • Investigate quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods for assessing the performance and robustness of different agents.

Qualification requirements

  • Students in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field of study
  • Excellent programming skills in Python
  • Solid knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI concepts, and their applications 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • German and English language proficiency at B2 level
