Brief Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic graduate or undergraduate student pursuing a master's or bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about working in Wolfsburg, Germany, and must be available for a minimum internship duration of 6 months. As an intern, you will be actively engaged in research within the fields of last-mile logistics, autonomous delivery robots, gender gap analysis in logistics delivery, sustainability, and related topics.

Possible Tasks within this Role

  • Conducting in-depth research on last-mile logistics trends and autonomous delivery robots

  • Assist in the preparation of research papers and documentation for publication

  • Analysis of statistical models of user perception of new delivery technologies with full support and guidance provided

  • Understand and be able to modify mathematical models of urban logistics systems in order to test different scenarios with indicator variations

Qualification requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a master's or bachelor's program in Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Geoinformation Technology, Urban Planning or Economics
  • Proficiency in English as the position requires communication and documentation in English
  • Strong interest in innovation, development for future vehicle technologies and sustainable urban mobility
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team
