You will work in a creative and interdisciplinary team focused on intercultural design and the development of innovative graphic and pattern concepts. Within an open and collaborative work environment, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute your ideas and benefit from a wide range of perspectives. You will be involved in international projects and engage with cultural influences in design. Through close collaboration within the team and the use of modern working methods, you will gain valuable insights into creative processes and continuously develop your design skills. Possible Tasks within this Role

  • Develop holistic color and material concepts for vehicles of the Volkswagen Group based on current trend analyses and idea generation
  • Analyze future trends and research innovative materials
  • Use and apply AI tools and programs proficiently
  • Create mood boards and presentations and support daily operations
  • Work in a goal-oriented manner, communicate effectively, and collaborate and network across different departments

Qualification requirements

  • Students (including those in a gap year) in the fields of industrial design, product design, computational design, transportation design, visual communication, textile design, fashion design, or a comparable field

  • Knowledge of Illustrator, Rhino, Blender, or InDesign

  • Strong skills in VRED and Photoshop

  • English and German language level B2

  • Initiative, creativity, and a strong sense for trends
