Brief Role Description

The traineeship of Volkswagen Communications is a two-year training program certified by the German Academy for Public Relations (DAPR). Participants learn how to plan and implement communication projects for a globally active automotive company. As part of the program, they work in various departments within Volkswagen Communications. We look forward to receiving your application.

Possible Tasks within this Role

  • Planning and implementing a wide range of communication topics and projects
  • Supporting operational and strategic communication activities
  • Organizing and accompanying media appointments across various formats
  • Supporting communication efforts at another corporate site
  • Developing practical skills from researching to producing and publishing content

Qualification requirements

  • Completed master’s degree in media/communication
  • Good to very good academic performance
  • Knowledge and skills in journalistic formats and communication channels
  • Practical experience in media organizations and PR agencies
  • German and English language level C1
  • Above‑average expressive abilities
  • Team‑oriented and self‑reliant working style
  • Confident and communicative demeanor
  • Class B driving licence
