Are you a licensed aircraft technician looking for a new challenge? Then you’ve come to the right place!
Our Volkswagen AirService at Braunschweig Airport is the central hub for all topics related to aviation mobility within the Volkswagen Group. Together, we ensure that board members and top management remain mobile at all times. Our team handles the complete maintenance and servicing of the Group’s aircraft and also offers these services to external customers – primarily for Dassault Falcon 7X/8X and Pilatus PC-24 aircraft.

Possible tasks within this role

  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair work
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults and technical issues, including structural repairs
  • Assembling and disassembling components in areas such as control, steering, landing gear, engine systems, hydraulics, de-icing, and cabin equipment
  • Documenting all actions performed in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Providing technical guidance to team members within assigned projects and take on special tasks and temporary assignments

Qualification requirements

  • Completed training in aircraft mechanics or an equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in maintenance and repair of civil aircraft (Base and Line Maintenance)
  • Valid EASA Part 66 CAT B1 and/or B2 license required; C license preferred
  • Type rating for Dassault Falcon 7X/8X or Pilatus PC-24 is an advantage
  • German and English language proficiency at C1 level
  • Independent, responsible work style with high flexibility; experience in technical guidance or leadership preferred
  • Willingness to work shifts, take on on-call duties at varying intervals, and travel domestically and internationally as needed
