Possible Tasks within this Role

• Ensuring the proper representation of the balance sheet and income statement items assigned to the area of responsibility
• Assessing and applying accounting rules in accordance with international and national financial reporting standards
• Analyzing new business transactions and processes with regard to their accounting implications
• Advising internal departments on financial and accounting effects, particularly in the context of transformation and change processes

Qualification requirements

• Completed degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or a comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB
• Practical experience in the accounting of standalone entities or in external auditing
• Strong analytical skills for understanding operational processes outside one’s own area of expertise
• High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
• German language level C1
• English language level B2
