Brief Role Description
The Warehouse Trainer is required to support / supplement the Training requirements within the Production Academy in order to adequately support the training needs in the Warehouse and Key support areas.
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Planning learning events and programs with customers and subject matter experts
- Developing standard and customised technical training content and material
- Facilitating learning / training interventions using a variety of methodologies, for a varied target audience
- Designing integrated assessments for technical learning programs
- Guiding and supporting learners by identifying learners needs, analyzing problems, providing advice and support to learners, keeping records of interactions, evaluating performance - to ensure that learners obtain the necessary skills, qualifications and competencies
- Evaluating a course / learning program by designing and implementing evaluation tools/ strategies, comparing results, generating findings and reflecting on the effectiveness of the training offering
- Providing critical line support training for key projects, new model introductions, engineering changes and engineering processes, group certification requirements
- Delivery of fundamentals including standardized work, on the job assessments, multi skilling, Supplier Development and problem solving.
- Application, training and support of the VW production System process implementation
- Analysing, preparing Technical solutions and presenting training for Profi Raum topics that support Production and Technical areas
- Administering training information, including blended learning solutions and utilization of Learner Management system
- To consult with all levels of Management, Union and Agents in Production on the implementation understanding and application of training interventions, processes and development initiatives in support of company goals
- Conduct On the job training
- Conduct one-on-one coaching and co-ordination for Group Leaders
Qualification requirements
A relevant Technical Degree/Diploma in Ops Management or Industrial Engineering
Experience needed
- 3-5 years of training and development experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
- Experience in employee development, training program design, and production processes
Essentials
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
