Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced candidates to fill the Temporary Tool Setter Trainer in the Press Shop - Production (Kariega)
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Provide training input on setting of Press tools in its presses
- Be able to demonstrate on how to fetch & return dies from their home position.
- Ensure loading of tools at the requested press line.
- Demonstrate physically how to locate tools on press bed according to setting data.
- Clamp tools to press
- Demonstrate how to set tools according to its designed functionality
- Locate and install pedestals at presses
- Make 1st buy-off part
- Manually adjust the press setting to optimise part quality status
- Compare first-off part to master part
- Physically removes dies from press & set-up with new die
Qualification requirements
Matric
Experience needed
Minimum of 2 years training experience
Essentials
- Have initiative and be able to work under pressure
- Have good communications skills
- Be prepared to work shifts
- Be prepared to work extended hours
