ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a customer-oriented certified Service Advisor to manage the service and repair process from booking to vehicle handover. The role involves coordinating workshop activities, allocating work to technicians, ensuring repair quality standards are met, and delivering outstanding customer service to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. This position is based in Service Garage - NSO (Kariega)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confirm customer requirements, repair scope, timing and mobility needs against workshop capacity and parts availability.
- Validate repair requirements through diagnosis, vehicle inspection and test drives where required.
- Create complete job orders on the DMS using the latest technical, repair and parts information.
- Coordinate parts, technicians, tools and equipment to support agreed completion dates.
- Obtain customer approval for supplementary work and communicate repair progress or delays.
- Verify repair quality through final checks and test drives and initiate corrective work when needed.
- Handle complaints professionally and ensure priority follow-up through to completion.
- Ensure accurate DISS workshop findings to support field analysis and product concern resolution.
- Advise the customer that the dealership will be carrying out quality control follow-up checks and request them to participate if they are called.
- Conduct vehicle safety and roadworthiness assessments during repairs, ensuring unsafe vehicles are removed from service, corrective actions are implemented, and customers are kept informed of required repairs and safety concerns.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- National Diploma in relevant Engineering Field, Marketing, Aftersales, or a relevant qualification.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' Aftersales experience in a dealership environment.
- Completed international certified Service Advisor programme.
- Strong Volkswagen and Audi product knowledge and exposure to automotive product issues.
- Valid Driver’s license
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
- Customer-focused communication and complaint handling.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Keyloop, ElsaPro, MSQP, SAP and iPartner.
- Sound knowledge of VWGA warranty and goodwill policies.
- Planning, job scheduling and workshop coordination.
