ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven SSA Product & Planning Analyst to join the One.Aftersales team. The individual will be responsible for supporting the Sub-Saharan Africa After Sales function through parts pricing, business performance reporting, marketing, product management, promotional campaigns, and customer loyalty initiatives, while also contributing to strategic projects within the After Sales Division. This position is based in the One-Aftersales Department (Sandton)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement After-sales campaigns and promotions to improve parts sales growth
- Regular Dealer engagements, market intelligence, and trend analysis
- Develop, implement and manage After-sales marketing strategy, loyalty for market share growth.
- Dealer performance tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate Dealers parts incentive program, including target setting and incentives in order to enhance the Brands performance and increase Genuine Parts turnover.
- Pricing management, benchmarking, and profitability optimisation.
- Maintain parts pricing systems, manage inflation updates, and communicate changes to DMS.
- Dealer support, queries resolution, and support field force team for enablement of dealers performance.
- Pricing strategy support, benchmarking, forecasting, and KPI reporting
- Conduct market research on pricing, campaigns, and other business activities
- Customer loyalty and retention programme development and management
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Data Management/Science, Commerce, Engineering or IT.
- A post graduate qualification (i.e. MBA/MBL/Honours degree) would serve as a distinct advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Sales and/or After Sales environment within an OEM or importer, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in Dealer Sales and/or After Sales (Parts and Service) operations.
- At least 3 years' experience in parts pricing within an OEM or importer environment.
- Experience and exposure within Sub-Saharan African markets would be an advantage
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Advanced MS Office skills, CRM systems, and data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python, Google Analytics)
- Data analysis to derive insights, meaning and themes Design thinking skills
- Ability to formulate comprehensive product marketing plans
- Communication (i.e. written and verbal) and above average presentation skills
- Analytical thinking
- Self-starter
