Role Summary

The VWoA Sales Operations Graduate Analyst will participate in a structured rotational program across Incentives Management, Market Analysis, and Production & Allocation Planning. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Volkswagen’s commercial operations, focusing on data analytics, forecasting, and process optimization. The analyst will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics to translate insights into strategies that enhance business performance, market competitiveness, and operational efficiency.

Role Description

Incentives Management:

This rotation provides foundational experience in incentive program design and analysis. The analyst will gain exposure to the processes and calculations required to create competitive financial offers that drive sales volume and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Incentives team in evaluating and structuring monthly offers for Lease, APR, and Cash programs.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark incentive programs across other OEMs.
  • Perform financial calculations to assess the impact of new and existing offers.
  • Assist in creating reporting dashboards and presentations to summarize performance trends.
  • Gain exposure to Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) business processes, including auction and remarketing analysis.

Market Analysis:

This rotation focuses on understanding the broader automotive market, including industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics. The analyst will develop strong analytical skills by transforming large datasets into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth data gathering and analytics to evaluate market and segment trends.
  • Monitor Volkswagen’s performance against industry benchmarks and competitors.
  • Develop and present findings and recommendations to support sales strategy and product mix decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales forecasts with marketing and financial goals.
  • Support the development of market-driven strategies to balance sales volume and profitability.

Production & Allocation Planning:

This rotation offers experience in the operational side of sales planning, focusing on production allocation, order management, and wholesale performance. The analyst will learn how vehicles are distributed through Volkswagen’s dealer network and how supply chain decisions support sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with production allocation and vehicle ordering to regional dealer networks.
  • Support Market-Based Ordering (MBO) and Factory Suggested Ordering (FSO) processes.
  • Generate and manage reports related to vehicle orders, launches, and wholesale attainment.
  • Analyze sales performance data to optimize allocation and inventory balance.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and Product teams to ensure alignment of supply and market demand.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree (minimum) within the past 1 months (December 2024 or later)
    • Preferred Degree: Information Systems, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, or Business Analytics.
  • Graduate Program begins on July 27 2026. Applicant must be available to start on that date.

  • Understanding of automotive industry trends, market positioning, and supply chain principles.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics, Business Objects, and Excel.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across departments.
