Brief Role Description

Calibration and Compliance Specialist is responsible for overseeing, performing, and verifying all regulatory calibration verification and certification requirements in the Emissions laboratory and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all calibration results, supporting full compliance of test equipment and procedures with applicable governmental regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Years of Experience : 5-7 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, chemical, environmental engineering

 

Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental engineering or quivalent

Education Desired: Masters Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental engineering

Skills

Required: Specific knowledge of Emissions Equipment Calibrations ISO17025 experience

  • Analytical and Conceptual thinker  
  • Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written
  • Computer Proficiency – skilled in the use of various test software
  • Detailed Oriented / Highly Organized
  • System Integration
  • Multi-tasker
  • Problem Solving
  • Resource and Project  Management
  • Knowledge of Emission Testing Process per CFR (Code of Federal Regulations)
  • Knowledge of Test Bench Systems / Calibrations
  • Knowledge of Dynamometer Systems / Calibrations
