Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced to fill the Metrology Technician position in the QA Vehicle Department - Quality Assurance ( Kariega )
Brief Role Description
Conduct dimensional measurement of vehicle components to ensure conformity to drawing and dimensional specification.
Provide detailed dimensional analysis to aid part approval and correction to desired CAD/Drawing level
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Conduct dimensional measurement of vehicle components to ensure conformity to drawing specification.
- Conduct detailed measurement and analysis to aid part approval process of Internal and External supplier parts.
- Provide dimensional analysis and problem-solving ability to successfully resolve production concerns and improve the overall product quality.
- Conduct dimensional approval of vehicle components to ensure the successful release of components at the correct quality levels at relevant PEP milestones.
- Provide support to external supplier base to ensure correct Dimensional Metrology methods and principes are applied to ISO/VDA requirements.
