Brief role description

Join our dynamic "Development of E-Drive, Power Electronics & Transmission" team within Group Components at our Kassel, Wolfsburg, and Gaimersheim locations. We are at the forefront of developing all future pulse inverters (PWR) for electric drives within the VW Group. By transforming our innovations into economical products and continuously advancing existing technologies, we are shaping the future of mobility. Become a part of our innovative team!

Possible tasks within this role

  • Assist in developing virtual models and simulations for power electronics systems
  • Design and automate CAD models for power electronics components and complete assemblies
  • Enhance and optimize design tools by implementing individual subcomponent models

Qualification requirements

  • Students enrolled in a master's or bachelor's program (with more than 89 credit points) in mechanical engineering or related fields
  • Strong academic performance
  • Knowledge in power electronics
  • Extensive experience with CAD software
  • Basic knowledge in AI and Python
  • Proficiency in German and English (B2 level)
