Internship - Hardware Testing for Electric Drives (f/m/d)
Work environment
Our department “Development of Electric Drives, Power Electronics, and Transmissions” within Group Components at the Kassel site holds corporate responsibility for developing all future pulse inverters (PWR) for electric drives. Possible tasks within this role
- Support the development of automotive series hardware in accordance with Automotive SPICE, internal development processes, and functional safety standards
- Assist in the design, execution, and documentation of hardware unit and integration tests based on requirements
- Contribute to the project “Development and Implementation of a Maintenance and Documentation Tool for Measurement Equipment”
- Design and create support tools (e.g., adapter boards or signal generators) to facilitate test execution
- Develop and implement automated test procedures and evaluations
Qualification requirements
- Bachelor’s students (with at least 89 credit points) or Master’s students in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or similar fields
- Good to very good academic performance
- Knowledge in power electronics / pulse inverters for electric drives, hardware development, or similar areas is desirable
- Familiarity with MATLAB, PLECS, LTSpice, VBA, and Microsoft Office is a plus
- German and English language skills at B2 level
- Valid Class B driver’s license required
