ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the NSO. The role contributes to accurate pricing, budgeting, and compliance with local and international reporting requirements. This position is based in NSO Controlling - Finance (Sandton)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct financial feasibility and pricing analysis for vehicles
- Ensure accurate pricing of new products and support approval processes aligned with local and international requirements.
- Analyse and monitor vehicle price indices and cost accuracy (forecast vs actual).
- Prepare product cost information for budgeting and medium-term planning.
- Manage and maintain business models and HQ system updates.
- Support pricing implementation, including vehicle options, packages, and ad hoc pricing requests.
- Evaluate and report on dealer, rental and government incentives and ensure reconciliation.
- Prepare tenders (RT57), rental proposals, and pricing submissions.
- Compile Vorlagen for quarterly pricing and tender meetings.
- Manage incentive budgets and provisions, including overheads and fixed cost allocations
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- A post-graduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Management would be advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ financial experience, preferably within the motor or related industry
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take accountability for outputs.
- Strong team collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative, innovation, and resourcefulness.
