ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Digital Experience (UX) Manager to lead Volkswagen South Africa's digital transformation journey across the customer value chain. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering an industry-leading digital ecosystem by driving customer experience, digital marketing innovation, business process transformation, and digital platform excellence. This position is based in NSO (Sandton)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the long-term digital transformation strategy.
- Manage cross-functional digital transformation programmes.
- Drive continuous improvement of digital customer journeys.
- Manage the Volkswagen digital ecosystem, CRM and lead platforms.
- Coordinate digital projects, budgets and agencies.
- Monitor KPIs, risks and project delivery.
- Build stakeholder relationships across VW, dealers and global partners.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
A formal 3-year Bachelor's degree and/or Honours Degree from a recognized tertiary institution, preferably with majors in any of the following Digital Marketing / Strategy / Marketing / Data Analytics / Statistics / Project Management
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Digital Marketing with Digital Management and UX.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, CMS, Spider P & F, PDS, MBV and Victor.
- Experience managing CRM, digital ecosystems and cross-functional projects.
- Budget management and agency management experience.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
- Strategic thinking
- Project & programme management
- Stakeholder management
- SEO and website analytics knowledge
- HTML/CSS/CMS understanding
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
