UPS/Testing System Specialist

Brief Role Description
Responsible for the vehicle ECM programming and automated function check; creation of check programs in SIDIS Pro for the commissioning of vehicles with consideration of the individual configuration and start-up procedures; development and implementation of measures for sustainable error resolution; create check programs in SIDIS Pro to ensure the quality of the vehicle by means of build and functional testing; programming of interfaces to the operating equipment (roller bench, filling systems, etc.) which is controlled by the test system (SIDIS Pro); verification of vehicle functions in the pre-series builds by automated testing in the early commissioning of vehicles; implementation of the hardware and software management of the ECU‘s (Version control); support of the Software lifetime process (DL24); integration of new start-up instructions and verification requirements from product changes; implementation of new vehicle communication protocols (PDX files and service reference tables); development of solutions for short-term resolution of failures and the initiation of long-term corrective actions to resolve failures; development of measures to maintain high vehicle direct run rate in assembly; analysis of coding and programming data in cases of failures and development of countermeasures to control of failures; participation in working groups to improve product and process control; development and implementation of ideas to reduce cycle time in production; development of plant specific solutions for the optimal implementation of inspection specifications.
Qualification requirements
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 36 months of experience
