Program Information:

Role Summary
The Supplier Quality Engineering Intern will support monitoring parts and supplier quality data, resolving issues, and organizing documentation related to supplier occurrences. This role focuses on sampling and pre-series parts tracking, supplier data management, containment tracking, and monitoring sorting activities to ensure quality standards and timely communication.
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Organize received data and information into appropriate files.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate data submissions.
- Prepare reports and presentations based on collected data.
- Check systems to monitor sampling submission conformance.
- Prepare reports on parts condition for communication with suppliers.
Qualification requirements
- A rising college Junior, Senior or recent graduate
- Strong GPA
- Basic systems engineering knowledge (v-model process preferred)
- Strong preference for Engineering majors
- Interest in automotive technologies, with a particular focus on autonomous and self-driving systems
Skills
- Microsoft skills, analytical and logical thinking and problem solving.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with stamping, sealing, welding, and assembly processes.
- Proficiency in data bank operations
