Program Information:

  • Year Long Program Start Date (non-negotiable): August 10, 2026
  • Part-time during school year, full- time during school breaks
  • Program Duration: August 10, 2026– August 7, 2027

Role Summary

The Learning & Development Scholar will support all aspects of the Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) Learning & Development team, gaining hands-on experience in designing, coordinating, and delivering professional learning experiences. The role provides broad exposure to initiatives spanning new hire orientation, professional and leadership development, digital learning, and talent management.

Possible Tasks within this Role

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Support coordination and facilitation of New Hire Orientation sessions, both in-person and hybrid.
  • Manage the L&D team inbox by triaging and resolving level 1 inquiries efficiently.
  • Audit learning platform usage and assist with data tracking and reporting to measure engagement and impact.
  • Support development of professional and leadership training materials, including eLearning and instructor-led sessions.
  • Represent VWGoA at university events and support the growth of early career development pipelines.
  • Assist with project coordination and logistics for enterprise-wide learning initiatives.

 

Qualification requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Rising sophomore, junior or senior
  • Strong GPA
  • Strong preference for Business, Human Resources, or Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related degree

 

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors) preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Teams, Copilot, and digital learning tools.
