Brief Role Description
Serve as end-to-end project lead for developing a connected infotainment system in North America; ensure all project features, timing, etc. are met by coordinating with all project stakeholders to ensure all release targets are met and documented; act as single point of contact and coordinator for the E2E system tasks and topics; ensure compliance of all project-relevant milestones such as B-, C- Sample, AWE/BMG with all associated measures, track of all open issues, resolve and escalate all relevant blockers; prepare and perform approval drives to give approval recommendations (status and decision slides, track all related issues, evaluate BMG-readiness); proactively manage all aspects of the project, especially market-side and stakeholders; track all open issues during the development and integration of VW Group and third party backend systems; provide release plans and notes for backend releases; coordinate backend endpoint information with Module Development teams; monitor the uptime/testability status and provide proactive information to all stakeholders; create technical concepts in collaboration with the Function Owners; prepare regular status reports; and participate in and set up all necessary meetings. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related and 96 months of experience. Experience must include automotive infotainment control module development and connected services and connected application development.
