Brief Role Description

Volkswagen Group of America’s 6-Month Co-op Program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to gain immersive, hands-on experience in the automotive industry over an extended period. Designed for driven, curious, and highly motivated students, the program provides meaningful exposure to real projects that contribute directly to Volkswagen’s success.
Throughout the co-op term, participants develop both professional and technical skills through on-the-job training, mentorship, and collaboration with industry experts. This experience allows students to deepen their understanding of their field, strengthen their career readiness, and make a tangible impact within one of the world’s most innovative automotive companies.
Program Information:
- 6-month Co-op Program Start Date (non-negotiable): June 1, 2026
- Program Duration: June 1, 2026 – December 18, 2026

Role Summary
The eWarehouse Co-op will support the Flashing Technologies team, which is responsible for programming Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) and ensuring accurate parts delivery to the production line. This role will contribute to the digitalization and automation of warehouse processes, helping to make operations more stable, efficient, and data-driven.
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Assist in developing and implementing digital tools to support warehouse and flashing operations.
- Support the automation and improvement of data tracking through dashboards and reporting tools.
- Participate in the generation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth communication and coordination between flashing and production processes.
Qualification requirements
- A rising college Junior, Senior or recent graduate (must have gradudated in the last 6 months)
- Strong GPA
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Strong preference for Engineering or related degrees.
- Interest in automation, digital tools, and process improvement within manufacturing environments.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and experience with VBA Macros or Power BI.
- Basic understanding of programming and data visualization.
- Familiarity with flashing technologies and CAN communication is a plus.
