Join our team and help shape the future of electric mobility! In our department “Development of E-Drives, Power Electronics, and Transmissions,” we hold group-wide responsibility for developing all future pulse inverters (PWR) for electric drives. You can expect exciting insights into hardware development, a motivated team, and the opportunity to apply your knowledge in hands-on projects. The assignment period in Kassel/Baunatal ideally spans 12 to 24 months, allowing you to contribute your expertise to innovative projects alongside your studies.

Possible tasks within this role

  • Supporting the maintenance, care, and servicing of laboratories and measurement equipment, as well as administrative tasks in the lab environment (e.g., inventory and organization)
  • Assisting in the design, execution, and documentation of hardware tests (unit and integration tests)
  • Developing tools (e.g., adapter boards or signal generators) for test execution
  • Designing and implementing automated processes and evaluations
  • Contributing to the project “Development and implementation of a maintenance and documentation tool for measurement equipment”

Qualification requirements

  • Master’s degree program or advanced Bachelor’s studies (at least 89 credit points) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Good to excellent academic performance
  • Knowledge in power electronics or hardware development, as well as circuit design and microelectronics, is desirable
  • Experience with MATLAB, PLECS, LTSpice, VBA, or similar tools is a plus
  • Independent and structured work style, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
  • German and English language level B2
  • Valid driver’s license (Class B) required
