ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Promotions and Events Manager to lead the planning, development and execution of national and regional Audi events and promotional activities. The role is central to strengthening Audi’s premium brand image, supporting product launches and promotional strategies, and contributing to the achievement of sales and brand objectives through high‑impact customer and dealer events. This position forms part of the broader Audi Communications - This position is based in Audi - NSO (Sandton)
KEY RESPONSIBITLITIES
- Lead the planning and execution of national and regional Audi events in collaboration with Marketing Communications.
- Manage end‑to‑end event implementation, including vendor sourcing, RFP processes, and coordination with external agencies.
- Oversee all event and promotional activities to ensure alignment with Audi brand standards.
- Support dealer events and manage merchandising and branding across national and dealer‑level promotions.
- Identify and evaluate promotional opportunities that enhance brand visibility and positioning.
- Maintain event calendars, monitor budgets, and ensure cost‑effective delivery of all promotional activities.
- Assist other departments in upholding premium brand values during their events.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Marketing or Communications
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years Marketing experience, preferably within an automotive or luxury brand environment.
- Proven experience in event management, including large‑scale launches and brand activations.
- Background exposure to marketing, communications and public relations.
- Strong understanding of brand management and brand image development
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the Audi brand and brand values
- Excellent organisational skills with strong planning and attention to detail
- High levels of creativity, innovation and problem‑solving ability
- Strong customer focus (internal and external)
- Effective stress management and ability to manage multiple concurrent events
- Strong people management and team leadership skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
- Energetic, results‑driven and process‑oriented.
