Role Description

The Retail Programs & Remarketing Manager is responsible for the operational aspects of Volkswagen’s retail sales programs and Certified Pre-Owned activities, including execution, optimization, and day-to-day management of programs that support both new vehicle sales performance and used vehicle lifecycle outcomes.

Reporting to the Manager, Incentives Planning, Certified Pre-Owned & Loyalty, this role translates strategic direction into actionable programs, ensuring retail incentives, tactical offers, and CPO initiatives are accurately developed, implemented, and monitored.

 

The role plays a critical part in:

  • Delivering retail incentive and CPO programs and sales support tools, including the creation, publication, reporting, and maintenance of all sales and loyalty bulletins
  • Analyzing the competitive landscape and providing data-driven insights to support program optimization
  • Collaborating with Sales, Finance, Incentives Help Desk (IHD), Marketing, Field team, and third-party vendors to ensure effective and accurate program execution

 

Salary range is dependent on factors such as industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications. The salary range for this role is $60,000.00 to $100,000.00, actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and internal compensation practices. 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain monthly incentive forecasts and reporting, tracking program performance vs. plan and key variable inputs (sales channel mix, capitalized costs and term mix) to ensure accuracy of financial analysis and planned spend.
  • Support budget planning by monitoring spending, volumes, and variances, and developing scenario analysis to assess risks, opportunities, and volume impacts
  • Conduct post-program analysis and reporting to evaluate effectiveness and improvement opportunities
  • Develop monthly sales, competitive and incentives approval presentations, and support ad hoc analysis.
  • Collect, analyze, and distribute competitive incentive, loyalty KPIs and sales program intelligence to support business planning and decision-making.

 

Retail Program Execution & Delivery

  • Develop, publish, and maintain monthly retail incentive programs, including matrices, bulletins, and dealer communications
  • Translate strategic program direction into accurate, executable program structures (rates, cash, lease/finance support)
  • Ensure timely and error-free program launches, working closely with the Incentives Help Desk, and coordinating translations and approvals.
  • Provide all required program information to Volkswagen Finance (VCCI), Marketing, Field team and other stakeholders
  • Maintain consistency across internal systems, dealer communications, and customer-facing tools

 

CPO & Remarketing

  • Support execution of Certified Pre-Owned strategies, including volume planning, budget alignment, sales objectives, and program optimization
  • Track and report used vehicle and CPO KPIs to support dealer engagement, retention growth and used vehicle portfolio management.
  • Support Certified Pre-Owned pipeline health through data analysis, VCAS support, program coordination, and reporting

 

Program Coordination & Operation Support

  • Serve as a key contact for dealer and Field inquiries related to programs, payments and exception requests.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to ensure programs are correctly reflected across digital and retail assets.
  • Liaise with Field team to ensure program clarity, adoption, and dealer readiness
  • Coordinate claims processing and VCAS with internal and external partners
  • Continuously improve tools, templates, and workflows to increase efficiency
  • Support risk management (risk radar) and compliance with legal and program guidelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or a related field
  • 3+ years’ automotive experience, including retail experience 
  • Experience with managing and administrating sales programs, conducting financial analysis, and remarketing assets
  • High accountability and ownership of processes and outputs
  • Detail orientated with a process-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Collaboration and stakeholder integration skills
  • Exceptional communication skills: interpersonal, presentation and written
  • Strong technical proficiency with advanced Excel skills

Role Description
