Technical Layout Draftman

We are currently looking to grow our team with a Technical Layout Draftman for our new project, in Valencia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for shopdrawing and layout coordination based on the project and client's requirements.
• Use CAD software and BIM to create 3-D plans for projects (Revit, AutoCAD, Bentley HLS)
• Collaborate on developing new standards for the Volkswagen Group
• Exchange 3D data via a common platform and ensure proper data management and storage protocols
• Interact as the main link between clients, selected equipment suppliers, and third-party engineering firms
• Prepare technical solutions and decision making, always having alternative ideas
• Development of technical standards based on Spanish regulations involved in the project
• Status presentation about the layout in Steering Committees
• Communication and management of suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, MEP, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Knowledge of German language is nice to have.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in design of industrial buildings.
• Proficiency working with HLS (Hall Layout System)
• Experience in BIM (3D Design)
• Solid knowledge on AutoCAD, Revit.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera for data exchange
• Development of planning scopes and methods for complex construction scopes

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Expertise in time management and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to understand technical drawings and plans
• Advanced math and computer skills
