Possible Tasks within this Role

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Hands-on with the code and be an active member in implementation and maintenance.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Work closely with development teams to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS...
  • Implement observability and monitoring strategies.
  • Maintain and optimize containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and ensure cost optimization.
  • Support event-driven architectures with Kafka and other messaging protocols.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices (TDD, DDD, clean code), security, monitoring...

Qualification requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong software engineering background (Java, Spring Boot, Python, Go, Typescript).
  • Experience with REST and GRPC communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (TDD, DDD, CI/CD).
  • DevOps & Cloud Expertise
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (AWS Glue, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, DynamoDB,...).
  • Experience with Vanguard is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and ArgoCD.
  • Experience in pipeline creation and maintenance (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
