Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines.
- Write efficient SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes (ETL).
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide efficient data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement robust and fault-tolerant systems for data ingestion and processing.
- Work with large datasets, employing advanced data processing techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience in Python using frameworks like Flask, SQLAlchemy (at least 2 years).
- Experience in relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL or mySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Redshift or Apache Druid).
- Experienced on Spark and other data engineering tools.
- Basic knowledge about testing strategies and tooling like TDD, unit testing, integration testing, PyTest etc.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Manage code via Git (Bitbucket, Github).
- Good level of English is a MUST.
- Ability to work in a team with Agile methodologies
