The Role:
• In your new role as the Community Engagement Specialist, you'll be pivotal in enhancing the welfare and engagement of our team. Your efforts and your positive spirit will drive a positive workplace culture, strong communication between teams and communities as well as extremely memorable events.


Responsibilities:
•    Drive initiatives that improve team satisfaction, mental health, and overall happiness.
•    Be the champion of our community spirit, fostering an inclusive and engaging environment for all our team members.
•    Organize and coordinate in person and online community events, team-building activities, and collaborative projects that boost morale and encourage camaraderie.
•    Help us generate compelling and unique content for use in our internal and external communications activities
•    Play an active part in our social media content creation and posting activities
•    Collaborate with HR to enrich our workplace culture with programs that support personal growth and a healthy work-life balance.
•    Facilitate open communication channels and foster a culture of feedback and recognition.
•    Oversee partnerships with vendors and service providers to support community and happiness initiatives within budget constraints.
•    Promote a safe and secure work environment in coordination with the relevant departments, upholding our safety protocols.
•    Advance our values of respect, inclusivity, and diversity, ensuring these principles are evident in our daily operations.

Requirements:
•    Proven experience in community management, employee engagement, or a related field, ideally within a tech or startup environment.
•    Experience building engagement and community in a remote first environment
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish; proficiency in German is a plus.
•    Public-speaking track record (conference talks, webinars)
•    Strong ability to organize and coordinate events that foster team building and community spirit.
•    Experience with social media management and content creation, with a knack for engaging a corporate audience.
•    Demonstrable skills in creating and implementing programs that enhance workplace culture and employee happiness.
•    Ability to facilitate open and effective communication, encouraging a feedback-rich environment.
•    Adept at working collaboratively across departments to promote inclusivity initiatives.
•    A passion for fostering an inclusive and empowering work environment that reflects our values of respect, diversity, and teamwork.
