Responsibilities:
- Join our engineering team to build and operate a high-scale Data Warehouse platform used across the Volkswagen Group
- You will work in a JVM-based environment (Scala/Java/Kotlin), contributing to distributed data pipelines with Spark, Kafka, and Delta Lake.
- You will help maintain and evolve our platform on OpenShift, MinIO/S3, OpenSearch, and real-time processing components.
Requirements:
- Strong SQL skills are required, along with solid fundamentals in JVM, Linux, and Git.
- Experience in Big Data frameworks is valued as a positive differentiator.
- As part of an international environment, you will collaborate daily with colleagues and stakeholders in English; therefore, a minimum B2 level is needed to feel comfortable in discussions and technical exchanges.
- We are looking for curious, proactive engineers who want to learn modern distributed systems and grow quickly within a high-impact team
